Hello Dammann Family!

I have missed seeing you all and am so happy to be back with you for Christmas! I apologize for taking so long to get here, but I had a case of snowflake sinusitis and was not well enough to travel with the first elves who came to Hixson.

Can you believe that Christmas is only 14 days away? What are you hoping to get this year? I believe someone is asking for an American Girl doll. :) It seems like the boys really want some Halo action figures.

I'm tired from traveling so I need to get some rest. If you still have that bed from last year, I'd love to use it again. It's really comfy. Yawn. I'm going to sleep now.

I hope you don't mind that I borrowed the van last night. I just had to see Po Po (because you know he's been sick with Pinecone Fever)! We decided to see if Periwinkle and Nixie wanted to hang out at Steak and Shake (since they're open all night) for a little while. We had such a good time. The shakes were the best and I'm pretty sure Po Po enjoyed the cheese fries. Nixie and Periwinkle were a lot of fun, too. They just wanted to keep hanging out - all night long. We don't get to hang out at the North Pole much because we're always working on toys and stuff. It was a nice break and we had a great time. Tell your mom and dad I would've put gas in the car, but I was afraid someone would see us and then our elf magic would be spoiled. I told Po Po to clean up because he kinda made a mess in the car (I think he's kinda messy!).

I can't believe it's Christmas Eve!!! Can you??? Tomorrow is the big day. Are you excited about opening your gifts? Wonder if I helped make any of them? Be sure to let me know what you got. I've had a great time visiting you again this year. I'm not sure when I'll be heading back to the Pole, but it will probably be soon.

Guess I better head off to get some sleep. I'm pretty tired after all that running around last night.

Oh my goodness! I had so much fun today. Thanks for taking me to see the play. That was amazing! I was so close and the singing was so beautiful. The trip to Chick Fil A was crazy, wasn't it?! There were a lot of people there and I was afraid I was going to lose you guys! It was so much fun to see Spriggy and to meet Periwinkle and Nixie. I have a feeling we'll be great friends - for a very long time.

Hope you don't mind, but I was inspired to try out my own magic carpet ride last night. After seeing that part in the play, I thought it would be fun! Have you ever been on a magic carpet ride? Do you remember last year at Christmas when Benjamin was sick, like the girls in the play? I hope everyone stays well this year.

Let me know if there's anything special you'd like me to do while you're asleep (except for cleaning - I'm not very good at laundry, or doing dishes, or cleaning bathrooms, or anything else like that). I'm having a lot of fun in your home.

I am soooo happy to be in your house again for Christmas!!! I hope you liked the lights on the tree outside. Were you surprised when you got home? I love your advent calendars, too. They make great steps.

I enjoyed visiting with your friends last night. I listened while Luke played the piano; it was beautiful! Hope you don't mind, but I thought I might try to play a little. I was afraid I might wake you up so I played very quietly!

I'm finding plenty of food in the pantry and Leah seems to leave me alone - most of the time. She tried to lick me a lot last night. I love my new bed, Hannah. Thanks for making it for me! You are very thoughtful.

Have fun doing your school work today. I'll be listening so I can learn something new, too.

*By the way - did a friend of mine named Spriggy, happen to arrive near here? I thought he was coming to Chattanooga. He's a great guy!

Hello Everyone! I'm hoping to visit you again this year. Would that be okay? Have you sent in an application? I sure hope so.

We've been very busy up here. I'm looking forward to taking a break while visiting your home. Have you made out a Christmas list? Maybe I've worked on some of your toys!

Hopefully I'll be seeing you real soon!

Hi! I'm feeling so much better now! I heard that Benjamin was really sick yesterday and had to go to the doctor. Tell him to eat 3 pieces of candy corn (Go ahead. His mom and I talked about it!) and maybe he'll feel better.

I can't believe Christmas is so close! It's so exciting to think about all the fun that's coming.  I hope you still enjoy having me around. I've really enjoyed being here. Do you think you'll ask for me to visit next year? It's okay if you want to try another elf, but I really like your family.

I guess you like the snowflakes! Would you like more? I borrowed some of your dad's fishing line to hang them. Hope that was okay.  I had to use a little elf magic to get the snowflakes on the ceiling fan.

Thanks for the food. Don't worry. I find things to eat (that you don't know about!)

Sorry I haven't written anything lately - I've been a little under the weather. I felt a little sick yesterday, but I'm so much better now! Thanks for the snowballs! They were so much fun. I played in them and pretended I was at the North Pole - it was like being home again (only I get to visit with you!).  Hope you don't mind the snowflakes. I decided to help decorate. I'm so excited that Christmas is only 7 days away, aren't you?

Hannah, I heard about your performance last night. I'm sure you performed beautifully! Congratulations!

I loved the candy corn - thanks for sharing it with me. I found a candy cane that I've been enjoying, too!

I love staying in your home. Thanks again for letting me hang out with you during Christmas!
